At Levin Family Health, our Nurses and Primary Care Practice Assistants (PCPAs) are here to support you and your whānau across Levin and the surrounding service areas — including Foxton, Shannon, Ōtaki, and rural communities throughout Horowhenua.

We offer a wide range of everyday and specialised services to keep you well. This includes health screening and recalls, triage support, wound care, immunisations, cervical smears, plastering and fracture care, family planning, sexual health support, nutrition advice, and preventative health checks. We also run nurse-led clinics for long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and smoking cessation — helping you stay on track in a supportive, practical way.

Our team can also help with vision checks, spirometry (breathing tests), vaccinations, organise community nursing visits, offer support for at-risk youth and families, and health education.

Appointments with our Nurses and PCPAs are available during normal working hours. Many concerns can be managed directly by our nursing team, and they are also available by phone for advice, follow-up questions, and test results.

Please note: Minor injuries and short-term illnesses that need prompt attention will be triaged through our Nursing PCPA Staff. Ongoing or long-term conditions are best managed through booked appointments with our clinical team to ensure you receive the right continuity of care.
